Thief steals tracksuits after filling out a job application in the store
Some thieves really deserve to be caught and a teenager in Aberdeen, Scotland ranks up there as one of the dumbest in the world.
The thief filled out a job application in the Aberdeen branch of JJB sports and then decided that he would steal a couple of tracksuits on the way out of the shop. Needless to say police had no trouble tracking him down as both his name and address where on the job application he had just completed!
The thief is understood to have put on two tracksuits in the store changing room and was spotted by staff as he attempted to leave, prompting them to call the police.
A spokesman for Grampian police said
"Perhaps he thought he had a better chance of getting a job if he sported some of JJB's own merchandise at the interview.
"It looks highly unlikely that he will get a job."
The youth has yet to be charged, but we are pretty sure that when, not if, he is convicted he will easily rank in the top ten dumbest thieves in the world.
